Endodontic Microscopes
Our practice is equipped with high-powered endodontic microscopes that enhance every aspect of patient care and education. With magnification of up to 25 times that of the naked eye, as well as precise lighting, Dr. Kim can locate hidden or accessory root canals, detect fine cracks or fractures, and more. This precision preserves more of your natural tooth structure while also reducing the need for retreatment in the future.
Our microscopes also include an integrated camera, allowing us to share live images during your treatment. You’ll gain unique insight into what’s happening inside your tooth, helping you understand exactly why a treatment is needed and how we’re addressing the present issue.
CT/Cone Beam Scanner
Our practice is also proud to offer advanced diagnostic imaging with the J Morita CBCT system. This state-of-the-art technology provides highly detailed, 3D images of the teeth, bone structures, and surrounding tissues—all with very minimal radiation exposure. Unlike traditional X-rays, CBCT allows Dr. Kim to see complex root canal anatomy, hidden infections, and bone loss with incredible detail.
This is especially important for diagnosing difficult cases and planning treatments such as root canals, retreatments, and apicoectomies. Ultimately, it ensures greater accuracy, improved patient outcomes, and a more confident, informed treatment experience.
